In the same way hugs and kisses blend together to imbue your lover with unlimited joy, green grapes are sweet too, but have a deliciously sour aftertaste that makes you crave more and more. You may think our diamond is light green in color. But if you look closer, you'll see that thousands of tiny reflections of brilliant white light formed its color.

Lab-grown Black Diamonds

A diamond is the hardest naturally occurring substance known to us. This gem was inspired by a black mulberry, resulting in a powerful modern design which emphasizes its hardness and gives a polished look. It has a tough but elegant, powerful and mysterious profile. Wear it to lead your peers with style, sophistication and power.

Quality Comes First

Quality is always our primary concern in all activities, including research development, diamond production, and customer service. We are dedicated to constantly improving our diamond manufacturing processes to ensure better quality and greater value. Through years of technological innovation, we pride ourselves on creating budget-friendly diamonds that are larger in size, better in clarity, and brighter in color.

Larger in Size

Our cutting-edge technology enables us to create fancy-colored diamonds in a cost-effective process and eventually increase the diamond size to a maximum of triple the size of a natural diamond for the same price and quality.

Better in Clarity

In general, our diamond clarity grades fall between FL (Flawless) and VS2 (Very Slightly Included), which is considered the higher range on a clarity scale. Inclusions can neither be seen by the unaided eye nor be easily detected under magnification.

Brighter in Color

90% of Berry Fancy™ lab-grown diamonds appear fancy intense or fancy vivid colors, which rarely occur among natural colored diamonds. Our advanced technology makes it possible to achieve consistent beauty and glamor.

Laser inscription

Permanently store a beautiful message in your diamond with a laser inscription. It could be a name, a series of numbers, or a phrase that means a lot to you.

Genuine Diamonds

Berry Fancy lab-grown diamonds are identical to mined diamonds in every way - visually, physically, optically, and atomically, except that they are born in a laboratory instead of under the earth. Only with specialized equipment can a professional gemologist identify the slight difference between lab-grown and earth-mined diamonds.

Diamond Assessment

GIA Certification

The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) is a world-renowned non-profit institute for gemological studies and evaluations. All Berry Fancy’s lab-grown diamonds can be certified by GIA in the same rigorous and unbiased grading process as natural diamonds. A verifiable GIA report is issued after the scientific assessment.

IGI Certification

The International Gemological Institute (IGI) is one of the largest independent organizations for testing and grading lab-grown diamonds, natural gemstones, and jewelry pieces. IGI certification is another reliable way to prove the quality and authenticity of your Berry Fancy colored diamond.

FTC declares lab-grown diamonds are diamonds.

A diamond is a diamond no matter where it is born.

On July 24, 2018, the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) deems: “Technological advances have made it possible to create diamonds in a laboratory. These stones have essentially the same optical, physical, and chemical properties as mined diamonds. Thus, they are diamonds.”

In-depth Knowledge of Your
Berry Fancy Lab-Grown Diamond

What Is a Lab-grown Diamond?

Lab-grown colored diamonds form in the same way earth-mined colored diamonds do. While minimizing the environmental impacts and ensuring safe working conditions, Berry Fancy™ proudly offers gorgeous colored diamonds larger in size and better in quality than mined diamonds that cost the same.

The Creation of Your Diamond

Various advanced technologies, such as HPHT and CVD methods, are integrated throughout the diamond growing process. Each Berry Fancy™ colored diamond is individually cultured and masterfully crafted. All the steps are aligned with high-performance standards to achieve excellent quality.

You Deserve the Best

Berry Fancy™ colored diamonds are created to present all the unique and bedazzling qualities that we perceive in you. Their everlasting brilliance and elegant colors withstand the test of time, and their beautiful existence constantly reminds you that you deserve the best of everything in life.

The 4Cs of Berry Fancy™ Diamonds.

Diamond 4Cs is a universal standard for describing a diamond’s quality: Color, Clarity, Cut and Carat Weight.

Diamond Color Grading

When evaluating the overall beauty and quality of a lab-grown colored diamond, color far outweighs the rest of the 4Cs (clarity, cut, and carat weight). The colors of Berry Fancy™ diamonds are graded based on three factors: hue, tone, and saturation. Hue refers to the primary color of the diamond, such as yellow, red, or blue. Tone and saturation go hand in hand to reflect the diamond’s color intensity, assessed on a scale from "Fancy Light" to "Fancy Dark". The combination of these three factors determines the final color of the diamond.

  • Berry Fancy™'s leading technology allows us to culture lab-grown diamonds in brilliant colors that are extremely rare and valuable among mined diamonds. Berry Fancy™ colored diamonds are created to consistently exhibit higher saturation and color strength, which keeps our diamonds' color grades within a range of Fancy Light to Fancy Deep. However, the diamonds’ final colors are subject to variables incidental to the creation process.

  • Yes. The process of growing a Berry Fancy™ colored diamond is fully customizable. You may send us a photo of the exact diamond color you like, be it light yellow or dark blue, and our diamond professionals will try their best to achieve the particular color shades you are craving.

  • Colored diamonds are extremely rare and only account for less than 0.1% of the number of earth-mined diamonds. As a result, colored diamonds are much more expensive than their colorless counterparts. Red diamonds are the rarest and the most precious among all the natural colored diamonds.Unlike mined colored diamonds, all Berry Fancy™ colored diamonds are priced based on their carat weights rather than their colors.

  • Yes, we do make colorless diamonds. Although Berry Fancy™ only specializes in fancy colored diamonds, you can still find your ideal fancy-cut colorless diamond at one of our sub-brands, Luna Eden, via lunaeden.com. If you are looking for unique diamonds made from your hair, Sunny Eden will be your best option.

About Carat Weight

As a unit of measurement, carats denote the weight of a diamond and may vary depending on the shape of the diamond. One carat is equivalent to 0.2 grams and can be subdivided into 100 points(a half-carat diamond is 50 points). Carat weight is not the sole element determining a diamond's value. Quality cut, high clarity, and beautiful color are also essential factors that make a lab-grown diamond stand out and shine brilliantly.

  • At Berry Fancy™, prices for our lab-grown colored diamonds start at $1000 for 0.5 carats. You can get a one-carat round brilliant cut yellow or blue diamond for $2,500. Our diamonds' prices are only determined by their carat weights.
In natural diamond pricing, as the diamond weight and the grades of cutting, color, and clarity increase, the price goes up exponentially in line with the increased rarity of the diamond. However, in our lab, every raw diamond is created and priced based on the same standards, meaning we charge a flat rate for all our lab-grown diamonds.

  • We offer four different carat options:

    • 0.5 ct

    • 1.0 ct

    • 1.5 ct

    • 2.0 ct

If you would like to order other carat sizes, such as 0.8 ct, please contact us for a quote.
The weights listed above are guaranteed minimum weights for each carat option. Your diamond may turn out to be slightly larger (by up to 0.25ct).

  • No, they only indicate guaranteed minimum weights. Like berries grown on a farm, every diamond grown in our lab comes in a unique size. We sort our diamonds into different size ranges, just like a farm sorts its berries. Your diamond may eventually be slightly larger (by up to 0.25ct).

  • Generally speaking, the range of 1.0 to 1.9 carats is by far the most popular. A bigger stone doesn't guarantee a better-looking ring, though; it also depends on the style of the ring (e.g. solitaire, halo, or double halo) and your finger length and thickness.

About Diamond Cut

The cut of a diamond determines its brilliance, the degree to which its setting surface interacts with light and sparkle. Cut does not refer to the shape of the diamond, but rather to the degree of perfection with which the diamond has been cut into its shape. The better the symmetry, proportions, and polish of a diamond, the higher its cut grade.

  • 90% Berry Fancy lab-grown diamond has been measured as between “Excellent” and “Good”, offering exceptional brilliance and fire. Furthermore, our advanced technology and know-how in the production process allow that we grow our stones to be the optimal size and shape for cutting, maximizing the sparkle each diamond customized for you.

  • No, the price only depends on the carat weight. For the same price you pay, you may get up to an ‘excellent’ cut in your diamonds. Since every diamond is custom-made to the same standards, this means we can price in a simple and straightforward way — only based on carat weight.

  • No. Diamond ‘Shape’ is different from diamond ‘Cut’.

Diamond ‘Cut’ assesses how light interacts with a diamond, a higher cut grade is based on a combination of the diamond’s proportions, symmetry, and polish.

Diamond ’Shape’ is related to the outline or style of a diamond. Our lab-grown diamonds are available in more than 9 different shapes, including cushion, princess, heart, and more.

  • ‘Fire’ is the colored flash of light visible in the stone, which is broken down into different colors such as yellow or blue when the light enters the diamond.

‘Brilliance’ is the light emitted by the stone in the original color of the stone and the light source.

‘Scintillation’ is the sparkle and intensity of light emitted by a diamond as it moves.

About Diamond Clarity

The clarity for a lab-grown diamond is an assessment of the tiny internal defects within the diamond at a magnification of 10x. These flaws are called inclusions. Inclusions impede a diamond's ability to refract and reflect light, so the poorer clarity a diamond has, the less it will sparkle.

  • 90% of Berry Fancy lab-grown diamond has been measured as between VS and VVS. This means the diamond has only minor inclusions that cannot be seen by the naked eye, and are difficult to see at 10x magnification.
When buying a fancy colored diamond, the diamond's color and intensity are much more important than the diamond's clarity. Diamond clarity does not play as much of an important role in fancy colored diamonds as it does in colorless diamonds.

  • No, the price only depends on the carat weight. For the same price you pay, you may get up to VVS1, or FL clarity for your diamonds. Since every diamond is custom-made to the same standards, this means we can price in a simple and straightforward way — only based on carat weight.

  • The modern diamond clarity grading scale ranges from I to FL, with FL as the highest clarity grading.

    • I1, I2, I3 - Included (I)

    • SI2, SI1 - Slightly Included (SI)

    • VS1, VS2 - Very Slightly Included (VS)

    • VVS1, VVS2 - Very Very Slightly Included (VVS)

    • Internally Flawless (IF)

    • Flawless (FL) Diamonds.

  • When buying a fancy colored diamond, the diamond's color and intensity are much more important than the diamond's clarity. Diamond clarity does not play as much of an important role in fancy colored diamonds as it does in colorless diamonds.
In colorless diamonds under 1 carat, clarity should be considered the least important of the traditional 4 Cs. In colorless diamonds between 1 and 2 carats, clarity grades of SI1 or better will not have inclusions easily visible to the naked eye. For colorless diamonds over 2 carats, a clarity grade of VS2 or higher is the safest bet for avoiding any signs of visible inclusions.
